The Interface DLL

One method to access ReliaSoft's Weibull++ engines is via the Interface DLL. This is an ActiveX DLL that provides the software developer with access to the Weibull++ application itself, allowing control of Weibull++ through the developer's application. This DLL is the same interface currently utilized by ReliaSoft to link Weibull++ functionality in other ReliaSoft software, such as BlockSim, ALTA, Xfmea, RCM++ and RENO.

The Weibull++ DE package includes multiple examples that show most aspects of implementation in applications created using Visual Basic (VB) and VBA (e.g. in Microsoft Excel or Access). Implementation examples for the Interface DLL include:

Quick Excel Example: Using the Interface DLL through Excel's VBA, you can easily call a Weibull++ instance and control it, including sending data and getting results back. 

Quick VB Examples: Using the Interface DLL through VB, you can easily integrate Weibull++ 7 with your application.
